The three RAF CAPS Directors receive strategic guidance from a RAF CAPS Board and operational guidance from three Executive Directors.
The RAF CAPS Board is chaired by the Air Officer Commanding 22 (Training) Group and includes the Director of Air Staff, the Commandant Royal Air Force College and Director of Recruitment and Initial Training (Royal Air Force), the Commandant Air Warfare Centre, the Assistant Commandant (Air) of the Joint Services Command and Staff College, and the Dean of Academic Studies at the Joint Services Command and Staff College.
The three Executive Directors are the Director of Air Staff, the Commandant Royal Air Force College and Director of Recruitment and Initial Training (Royal Air Force), and the Commandant Air Warfare Centre.
The three RAF CAPS Directors receive support from an Academic Advisory Panel, a group of esteemed specialists who have been invited to provide advice to on various academic matters.
