AP 3000 British Air and Space Power Doctrine - Fourth Edition   [click to read]

Although the basic principles of air and space power are enduring, since the Third Edition was promulgated in 1999 changing military and strategic circumstances have driven a reappraisal of AP 3000 British Air and Space Power Doctrine.  The title has also changed to reflect the ubiquity of space in support of the delivery of air power and Joint effect. This edition complements existing Joint and Allied doctrine by providing a distillation of the broad principles of the application of air and space power in the 21st century and also sets these principles in the context of the UK's Comprehensive Approach, where favourable outcomes are sought in complex crises by using all the levers of power in a cross-governmental and inter-agency approach.
